“Khandan” (Córdoba, October 7, 1910 – Madrid, February 24, 1968) is a novelette written by the Spanish author Julio Cortázar in 1929. The novelette was first published in 1929 in the Spanish magazine, Teoría y Doctrina de la Literature. The novelette was later included in the book, “” (1934). This novelette is included as an appendix in (1961).
“Khandan” is a novella written in comic realism. In the novelette, the narrator is an indigenous Indian man who is exiled in the city. In the city, the narrator meets a businessman who tells him the story of his life. The novella was written as a parallel to the narrator’s own life. In the novella, the narrator and his own life are both presented in comic reality.

Is there a way to prove that:
$$\frac{\partial}{\partial a}\int\frac{dx}{a^2+x^2} = 0$$
I tried the following:
$$\frac{\partial}{\partial a}\int\frac{dx}{a^2+x^2} = \frac{\partial}{\partial a}\int\frac{x^2-a^2}{(a^2+x^2)^2} = \frac{\partial}{\partial a}\int\frac{ -2ax}{(a^2+x^2)^2}$$
I could then apply the chain rule to conclude that
$$\frac{\partial}{\partial a}\int\frac{dx}{a^2+x^2} = \frac{ -2a}{(a^2+x^2)^2}$$
What happens when I set $a = 0$?
Edit: The original question asked about $\frac{\partial}{\partial a}$ rather than $\frac{\partial}{\partial x}$
