Photoshop is a great way to improve the images. I feel more techy from Photoshop Elements. I love the fx in Elements as they work well on photos when they cant be replaced. If I am in a rush I can search for the equivalent on Elements. With Photoshop I have to use plugins sometimes, but I can better see what my final image looks like after I edit it. It is fun to play with the tool, not just cut&paste work.
As with other software, prices increase as you use more of the product and add more features. If you are just starting out, it is usually best to pick the lowest-priced option and save up to buy more expensive products. But that doesn’t apply to Elements, which lacks an upgrade path and the same price as Photoshop.
